The principle of Victorian Pharmacy Brokers, Ken Green, is a licensed Estate Agent, member of REIV, as well as a member and Certified Practising Business Broker of the Australian Institute of Business Brokers, has been Director and Officer in Effective Control of specialist pharmacy business agencies since 1994. Prior to 1994 Ken was employed with Sigma Company Limited for more than 16 years. During this time, he had responsibilities in wholesale distribution and marketing for 12 years, and was then responsible for the brokering of retail pharmacies throughout southern Australia.
Paul Meehan joined VPB in January 2007after spending the previous 7 years with Sigma as the Business Development Manager for Victoria. Paul's main role was to facilitate Pharmacy Business sales (matching buyers with sellers). He has gained a wealth of industry knowledge over that time while developing strong relationships with pharmacists, accountants and solicitors.
Prior to coming to Sigma Paul had over 25 years experience in the financial sector with Westpac in various roles but primarily in Branch and Business Banking Management. He has a strong financial analysis background that assists him greatly when completing assessments of the values of pharmacy businesses. Paul is Licensed Estate Agent, is a member of the REIV, as well as a member and Certified Practising Business Broker of the Australian Institute of Business Broker.
Victorian Pharmacy Brokers have strong business associations with Sigma, Symbion and Australian Pharmaceutical Industries. Together with these pharmaceutical wholesalers, Victorian Pharmacy Brokers has also established an extensive referral base of Accountants, Solicitors, Property Developers, Shopping Centre Landlords and Centre Managers. Close links are also maintained with the Pharmacy Guild, Pharmacy College, Pharmaceutical Society and the Victorian, NSW, Queensland and Tasmanian Chemists Golf Clubs.
